The Process
When buying a firearm, it must be shipped to a local Federal Firearms License holder (an FFL). The local FFL dealer will receive the firearm shipment from Liberty Gun Company and perform the required background check when you meet to pick up the firearm.
Below is the step-by-step process:
Step 1: Purchase the Firearm. Select the firearm you would like to buy from our store. Add it to your cart and check out using your own shipping address. Pay by credit card, or mail in your Money Order, Cashier’s Check, or personal check per checkout instructions.
Step 2: Ask your FFL dealer to email a file copy of their license along with your name and order number to Sales@libertyguncompany.com.
Step 3: Liberty Gun Company ships the firearm to your FFL. Once payment and the required copy of the FFL is received by Liberty Gun Company, we will ship your firearm to your FFL’s address. We will provide you tracking information when the firearm is shipped.
Step 4: You pick up your firearm at your FFL’s location. You will be required to complete a federal background check (ATF Form 4473) at your FFL’s place of business. BEFORE you complete Form 4473, inspect the firearm and make sure it is exactly what you ordered. If there are any problems, DO NOT proceed with the transfer. Contact Liberty Gun Company to discuss your concern.
Note: Most FFL dealers charge a fee for their transfer services. You will be responsible to pay their fee.
